Social distancing is going to be with us for a while as the world continues to restrict infections by controlling our proximity to each other. Restaurants will have to adhere to these policies and change their business models to make up lost revenue. FoodGuru helps restaurants to operationally manage the reduction in dining capacity as well as providing them with the tools to recover revenue by selling the menu through ‘Click n Collect” or “Delivery” solutions.

Level 5
Means that drastic measures are required to contain the spread of the virus to save lives.
Level 4
Means that some activity can be allowed to resume subject to extreme precautions required to limit community transmission and outbreaks.
Level 3
Involves the easing of some restrictions, including on work and socila activities, to address a high risk of transmission.
Level 2
Involves the further easing of restrictions, but maintainence of physical distancing and restrictions to some leisure and social activities tp prevent a resurgence of the virus.
Level 1
Means that most normal activity can resume, with precautions and health guidelines followed at all times.

Government regulations on lockdown imply that restaurants are not allowed to operate under Levels 3-5 except for online delivery. Under this idle period FoodGuru can help you prepare for getting back to business. ​

How we can help you

Social distancing unfortunately means that your maximum dining capacity is going to be reduced. If other country policies are followed this will start at 50%. FoodGuru is constantly monitoring government regulations and the software will be updated as the virus gets under control. Social distancing codes will determine the capacity levels:
Red

50% Capacity

Amber

75% Capacity

Green

100% Capacity

Restaurants may have to adjust their layouts of the tables to account for social distancing. It is recommended that tables are at least 2m apart. In addition, restaurants should provide hand sanitisers at the entrance of the location, waiters should ideally wear masks, food handlers should ideally wear gloves, and staff should wash their hands every hour.
FoodGuru also provides a highly accurate thermal temperature device which screens for temperature. Upon entrance to the restaurant, customers and staff are screened so as not to allow high temperature individuals into the location. Apart from good governance, your customers will appreciate the care taken to ensure that social distance and relevant precautions are taken.

Diners arrive, check them in. This can be done at the reception desk or at the table. Show your guests that you are checking them in and that you have available capacity

Foodguru also provides you with a capacity certificate of the current situation that you can display at your entrance

Step 5

Once diners have been checked in the maximum capacity is reduced. Once they are checked out the capacity is increased.​

Step 6

You can also check your stats at any time.​

The Foodguru screening modules provide non-invasive, accurate FEVER detection with immediate notifications.
FoodGuru provides your restaurant with thermal a imaging solution depending upon the size and need of your location. At the most basic level we provide a mobile tablet type of device that is used to screen everyone entering your location. Larger establishments could opt for a scanning kiosk at the entrance.
As we are witnessing today, bacteria and viruses are incredibly harmful to the public and the economy. The Foodguru UV Irradiation solution allows for peace of mind, knowing that your restaurant is pro-actively taking steps to ensure the safety of your patrons and staff, disinfecting air and surfaces.

Disinfect equipment and surfaces using handheld units killing killing 99.9% of pathogens with close contact to surfaces. It is good practice to provide a “Deep Cleaned” restaurant every day.
